The Center for Evangelical Apologetics is a nonprofit, interdenominational Christian ministry. Its mission is to equip Christians in the work of making disciples of all nations by providing cutting-edge teaching and resources in defense of the evangelical Christian faith. Its founder and president is Robert M. Bowman Jr., an evangelical apologist known for such books as Why You Should Believe in the Trinity, Faith Has Its Reasons (with Ken Boa), and Putting Jesus in His Place: The Case for the Deity of Christ (with CEA board member Ed Komoszewski).

Rather than recycling stock arguments or repeating pat answers, the Center for Evangelical Apologetics labors to provide Christians with the best current research in defense of biblical Christianity. We make believers aware of the good resources that already exist and work to produce new, much-needed resources. These resources range from scholarly books and articles on select, strategic issues to popular resources that make the best apologetics material accessible to rank and file Christians. Of special importance to our mission is the work of providing educational and training resources for Christians engaged in apologetics in countries outside North America. The Center partners with other ministries in these important endeavors.

The research, writing, and teaching ministry of the Center for Evangelical Apologetics will continue with the emphasis and focus on defending the biblical view of Jesus Christ that has marked the work of both Rob and Ed. A new book showing that the New Testament Gospels are vastly superior to any of the noncanonical gospels is in the works, as is a new book defending the doctrine of the Trinity. We are also working on a response to a recently published 600-page book that attempts to disprove the deity of Christ.
